At the age of five, Chris was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. He has limited communication skills and hypersensitivity to certain sounds but has a particular obsession with visual images.

 

Chris’ parents know their son is unique and have encouraged him to develop his exceptional ability to imagine. Because of physical limitations of fine motor skills, Chris abandoned drawing and painting and picked up his mother’s camera. Soon, he was taking photographs of flowers with a unique perspective and making notable works of art from the photographs using his computer.
