Mendicino Art is a collection of visual art pieces by mother, Terry, and son, Chris, whose lives were affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder.

 

Through the challenging years, bonding together has included doing art therapy for both. They found comfort, acceptance and independence while collaborating on several works of art.

 

Chris’ work is virtuosic in its keen detail and riveting color. His digital art is an abandonment of traditional linear form distinct enough to be mistaken for paintings.

 

Terry’s versatility includes the use of various media; painting, textile design, paper making, photography, and alternate photo processing.

 

Mother and son continue to evolve as artists, exploring and experimenting with various techniques and tools.
